I think that the Eminem Superbowl commercial is the best, it was original and exciting. It was the right product, the right person, the right time of year to film it. Pretty much perfect. Plus I am a huge Eminem fan.

Shopping Center Pan: FAIL

Friday, January 7th, 2011

Tried again to do a shopping center pan. It’s just not happening. The center is too big, too difficult. If I could get up on a ladder or on some scaffolding, it would be ideal, but my workman’s comp doesn’t allow it. I told the City of Petaluma that I had to take a pass on it.

The ex’s went to Texas, armed with mini cams part 3

The Texas Conference was really excellent. But it was grueling. We didn’t leave the hotel. The most I saw of Dallas was the ride to and from the airport and one of those times it was already dark.  But that’s OK.  One of the presenting teams,  Frank Garay and Brian Stevens of Think Big, Work Small, filmed one of their daily shows at the conference.  It was fun to watch them pull that together and it was fun to participate.  The filming went remarkably well and very quickly and efficiently, considering that 400 conference goers were involved.  Here’s the link:

Breakers, breakers, breakers

Monday, December 6th, 2010

As per my earlier post, I can’t stop breaking down.  The #2 just trips whenever it feels like it.  Tonight it tripped three times until I turned off one of the kitchen lights.  I have had numerous maintenance folk come in and shine flashlights and stick things in sockets.  Of course the breakers never trip when they are around.  At the advice of one of them, I got an extension cord for my video computer.  I’ll plug that into one of the few sockets that isn’t on the #2 breaker and we shall see.   It is my belief that this problem will not be resolved.  I just have that feeling.  I think they think I am making it up.  Well, I’m not.  So there.
